Shaking with fury, Goat swore, like many before them,
“I'll kill you. I'll kill all of you.”
They spat it out like a promise. The Goat swore to the Bishops, the silent yet ever-present Executioner, the cultists, perhaps even themself. Nobody was going to help them. There would be no one coming to save them.
They were all alone.

The Bishops, the last Gods of the Lands of the Old Faith, had plunged themselves into paranoia when the oldest of them had prophesized that a Goat would bring upon their downfall and end the Gods as they knew it. Imprisoning and isolating Shamura for their own good, the Bishops made haste to slaughter the Goats and bring an end to the prophecy.
In doing so, they create a perfect vessel of war. -

Summary
Amy Rose and Sonic have been dating for years, but never once did Sonic sacrifice his freedom by slowing down for her. Amy wishes he would have - and as the years go by, trapped in a deteriorating relationship with her hero, something inside her head snaps.
Amy loves Sonic. She wants him all to herself. She wants to practice piano with him. She wants him to slow down and take the time to appreciate her.
