Yuuji Itadori was fucked.
Absolutely, supremely, inexplicably fucked.
Genuinely, totally, super-duper fucked.
Super fucked.
Because standing in the very not-destroyed, dense streets of Shibuya, lined with the bright colors of department stores, hotels, tourist attractions, and advertisements plastered across every available space, Yuuji did not have Choso as support. He didn't have Fushiguro as support. He didn't even have Okkotsu as support.
Yuuji was inconceivably, utmostly, wholly, not-awesomely fucked because he was in the year 2005.
🔴 OR: Stuck over a decade in the past, Yuuji has resolved to do anything to ensure his future doesn't come to be.
It would really be a lot easier if Geto Suguru wasn't so overbearing, if Gojo Satoru wasn't such an asshole, if Ieiri Shoko stopped instigating things, and if Yuuji were just a tiny bit smarter.
But he was on his own, so damn it if he wasn't going to work with what he got.

Ajaw wakes up alone, which is the first sign that something’s wrong. He hasn't woken up alone in years. If Kinich is up and about, Ajaw should be too.
Not that it bothers Ajaw. In fact, the solitude is perfect for plotting ways to hasten Kinich’s demise! He certainly doesn’t have a complex about being left to his own devices. It's just— Kinich knows to wake Ajaw if they have to head off and today was supposed to be their day off.
Kinich wouldn’t leave without Ajaw, so where the hell is he?

He makes himself grin, wider than he ever has before, and laughs that laugh he knows and loathes so much. “What a wonderful era to be reawakened!” he crows. “So now, where are all of the– oh, screw it.” His shoulders fall with his grin and Yuuji waves sheepishly. “Hi, Megumi. I’m Yuuji from a future where Actual-Sukuna kills basically everyone. Wanna bother Gojo-sensei to get us some Kikufuku from Kikusuian?”

Summary
Toritsuka Reita has always been severely depressed. However ever since the... Kusuke incident, he's been getting worse. Saiki has begun to take notice of this strange behavior when Toritsuka doesn't show up to school for nearly four weeks. Meanwhile, mysterious, violent earthquakes are shaking nearly all of the Greater Tokyo Area. And they all seem to last at least the same amount of time as Toritsuka has his panic attacks. As Saiki struggles balancing these new earthquakes and mysterious phenomena happening, he also has to juggle Toritsuka's sudden behavior change. Little does he know, the two events might be more close in relation than he thought.
A lot of this work is heavily inspired by many of the fics under the 'Toritsuka Reita needs a hug' tag. I'd love to thank all of these wonderful authors for inspiring me to write fanfiction! Please check them out!
