Louis caught a hint of the omega’s scent; strawberries with sweet honey and a tang of lemon - at the same time as he realised he’d been scenting.
Shit! Louis looked down at his sketchpad, mentally telling himself off for being such a knothead, stinking the place up at the sight of a cute omega.
He sketched for a bit then looked up to find himself looking into Harry’s eyes again, a blush beginning to appear.
This time he knew he’d been caught. Blushing also, he looked down again, pulling his hood up to cover his scent gland, willing himself to calm down.
He’s got a pup, he’s older. He’s not going to want to date a kid. He’ll think you’re like every other 22-year-old alpha. Louis’ negative self-talk interrupted itself with the memory of Harry’s scent and the faint blush on the omega’s cheeks. He couldn’t have been too upset at Louis’ interest.
