Summary

I'm actually so infatuated with Ann Liang's works and this is such a good interpretation of their relationship. I love how accurate the characterisation and the scenario is, honestly feels like a Ann Liang chapter and fills the void after not reading her works in the longest time.

Henry mimics her, the bed dipping slightly further as he reclines back.
“No, it was me who got lucky with you,” he assures with full confidence, and Alice gets the feeling he is referencing his words from not so long ago when he affirmed his love for her to Lin Ayi.
Alice thinks to herself that if her heart wasn’t melting before, it had to have been reduced to a puddle now.
