She pushed a button on one of said devices, a humidifier, if he remembered correctly, and it began to emit a white stream of mist into the air. She stepped back, rubbing her hands together in front of herself, satisfied with her work.

At least there no one will know she’s a complete loser who got ditched at the town carnival by her best friend, unlike Instagram or Twitter. A single AirPod rests in her ears as she scrolls aimlessly through fandom posts, liking some fic links from mutual's and reblogging others with enthusiastic tags about reading as soon as she gets a chance. She catches the wild flame out of the corner of her eye, but thinks nothing of it as she taps away at her phone until a large cloud of smoke engulfs her, dragging her back to reality just in time to hear the question suddenly aimed at her.
