Somehow, despite having been around for so long and experimenting with – well, basically everything that had been invented – he'd never experienced so many things going wrong during sex.

Lucifer is many things. The flicker of a candle flame. The shadow coiling in the deepest corners of a room. The endless void between the stars.
They made a deal, when Lucifer first careened into Alastor's life, but for what Alastor can no longer entirely recall. Power, perhaps, or freedom. A glimpse of eternity reflected in Lucifer's eyes. And when he finally asks for something in return, Alastor is ready to uphold his end of the bargain.
Joining a cult, however, is not exactly what he had in mind.

Summary
Alastor has made painstakingly sure that every demon in Hell know him as the Alpha overlord he portrays himself to be. Most vital of all is making sure that Hell's highest monarch understands that as well. Thanks to an abundance of scent blockers and a naturally dominant demeanor, no one knows what he truly is. When Alastor falls into a surprise heat, however, he finds himself at the mercy of Lucifer, who seems intent on making sure his enemy doesn't suffer through his predicament.
