Perci Jackson was never meant to be born a god, it was something the Fates had never intended for him. But one unexpected decision from the mortal that had entranced both the king and queen of the sea had laid waist to those explanations. And now the weaver sisters must ensure that Perci still bears the fate he is meant to, for Olympus to withstand the future.

    Summary

On the day Perseus Jackson is born, the sea seems to cry with joy. Atlantis glows bright as a tidal wave of emotion crashes over them. It speaks of raw, unadulterated adoration, devotion of a kind not felt in millenia.

On the day Percy Jackson is born, Poseidon holds him in his arms and cries in joy.

OR a rewrite of The Lightning Thief featuring a smitten Poseidon, a far more in-human and possibly prophetic Percy, a very confused Annabeth, and a Grover who’s decided to just accept the craziness that accompanies the terror known as Percy Jackson.

    Summary

Perseus Jackson is a son of Poseidon—product of a broken oath, packing more sass than sense, with the ocean’s temper yet none of its mercy, and a prophecy already gunning for him.

But he is also the son of Sally Jackson—the mortal who caught a god’s eye and out-stubborned the storm. Barely out of childhood herself, she wound up with a child who wept pearls and limpet teeth—and still managed to keep him hidden.

A disastrous field trip to the New York Aquarium unravelled all her efforts.

Now seven-year-old Percy’s colliding headfirst with Greek mythology, Sally’s stuck refereeing between gods, monsters, and aggressively helpful nature spirits, and the family secret is on life support.

Sure, more protectors might sound nice—until you realize none of them are equipped to wrangle a demigod overflowing divinity, and the only things keeping him hidden anymore are sheer luck, opportunism, and just enough self-delusion to qualify as a superpower.

    OR:
Join feral-child Percy on his quest to spread (minor) chaos, dodge smiting attempts, and collect all his half-siblings like they’re emotionally damaged Pokémon—while fate stumbles after him and heroic deeds get done more or less as an afterthought.

Sing Oh Muse, Melpomene, of Tragedy,
Of the Child of the Sea,
Blessed Of Inevitability, Cursed of the Sun

Sing to us of his deeds and his regrets,
    Of the sweeping currents,
    Of what cannot be changed

Sing to all of the Hopebringer,
    Of the calling tides,
Of a life so tragically foretold
