And he wanted to tell him that. How good it felt, how badly he wanted it to be real outside of Mikoshi. He wanted to tell him not to do this– that he won’t let him do this. That they could still find another way. That he wouldn’t let V put him in this position again, sucking up his lifeforce in a body he didn’t want, wasting air in a body he certainly didn’t deserve.
What came out instead was venom. Always venom from Johnny Silverhand, always words slung out of some self-righteous anger. If not at V, then at his situation, at the fucking world. Everybody else was always the fucking problem, never him.
