Summary
Of all the places and scenarios Peridot thought she might end up in at the age of 19, a mental ward was not one of them. After graduating high school and hitting the wall, she finds herself admitted into Crystal Gem Springs in hope of securing a speedy recovery and return to her "perfect" life, where she acted the dream daughter and scholar. Until then, she finds some distraction in her roommate, Lapis- a mysterious and detached girl whose feelings Peridot can't make sense of. Things get increasingly complicated as she's forced to contend with the ward's tyrannical rules.
