Until one day, you returned home with a small, trembling puppy in your arms, and shattered his reality. Alongside the revelation that your life could revolve around something other than him came his first taste of jealousy. Was he competing with a dog? Only he had the rights to your attention.
Your view of things was much simpler. Caring for a pet or for Brahms was pretty much the same thing. Both had pretty basic needs. Only, one was a demanding, untamed mutt, and the other was a puppy.

Summary
You work for a private military company as a sniper. You tend to be quite lonely in your unit, no one bothers you, neither you bother them. Sometimes you wish to be good buddies with your squad but the higher-ups would rather keep a toxic environment in the base so everyone is hostile towards each other.
The only time that keeps you from going insane from loneliness is this cozy shop you found a few months ago. They have the most interesting books possible, and a cozy atmosphere with nice people and staff. Couple months later after finding that cafe, another customer catches your eye (probably because of his massive stature and nice body) also becomes a regular. You always caught yourself staring at him probably a bit too much. You never talked to him before, but you both always caught staring at each other, and you swear to god that you saw a pink flush on his ear and above his mask.
You wish to talk to him but never got the courage to.
