A primeira coisa que Till vê ao chegar na cidade é o letreiro de boas-vindas: "Bem-vindo a Santa Carla", com uma ilustração de cartão-postal da cidade, desbotada ao fundo. Mas, do outro lado do letreiro, pichado em letras tortas de tom vermelho-sangue, está escrito “Capital mundial do assassinato”, cercado por outras frases e símbolos irreconhecíveis.

Summary
When Mizi starts acting out of character, Till makes it his mission to find out more about where his best friend keeps disappearing at night (and who she disappears with). When he finds Ivan of all fucking people at the same club Mizi keeps going to, he finds himself whisked away into a dark underground of which there is no escape. And for some reason, Ivan is hellbent on helping him out (in as many ways as he can).

“Till,” Mizi steps over to him, looking up at him with concern in her large eyes, as she lays her hand on his arm. “Are you sure you can’t stay? We have the space. I just hate the thought of you walking back to that house by yourself and being there alone in the dark . . .”
