Shadow wants to interrupt him, wants to kick him off the bed and watch him collapse in a blue heap on the floor, then push himself onto his hands and knees and blink up at Shadow with eyes that shock from bleary to embarrassed to angry. He wants to fight, to slam Sonic’s head into the floorboards, the bed frame, bust his skull open on the corner of the nightstand. He wants bared teeth and searing pain, he wants violence, wreckage, normalcy. Sonic dreams and Shadow wants to interrupt him, but then there’s another thought, dark and sinful and twisting up through his brainstem: he wants to push Sonic down further, press him deeper into whatever turbid place he’s in now, hurt him for seeking pleasure so brazenly and for daring to involve Shadow in his filth. Two opposite impulses, equal in gravitational pull and each a form of the other: Shadow wants to hold Sonic’s head underwater and watch him drown.
So he traps the tip of his glove beneath the point of a fang and he pulls it off silently, but Sonic looks peaceful, open and almost ethereal, silverblue under the spill of the broken milkbowl moon, and when Shadow touches him, he’s far less cruel than he’d expected himself to be.

A quick favor for Knuckles leads Sonic back to the Pyramid Ruins for pictures and data. Just a few pictures and some videos and he'll be in and out, and can come back with Knuckles and Amy to do their archeological dig. He expertly withheld how the other was already doing quite the good job 'obeying' him, perfectly still beneath his condescending hand.
"If you successfully manage to obey my requests all the way up to the day… then I’m yours. How does that sound?"

"On your knees."
He commands, strict and firm. Lightless eyes gaze back at him, the words hanging in the air between their sand-dusted bodies.
And then, slowly but surely, Sonic moves. Pushing his little body off the ground to rest gingerly on his knees, his paws planted on his thighs.
Shadow’s grin threatens to split his face, a low whistle leaving him as wanton feelings rise and clash within his chest.
"Too good to be true", but true and real and pliant, right before him. Sweetly awaiting his every command.
OR: boom!shadow hypnotizes boom!sonic… and decides to have a little fun along the way.

Sonic impatiently squirms as he digs his gloved paws into the soft plush leather bench that his upper half was laid on; the firm wood of the box around him left the hedgehog in what was almost a suffocating darkness.It made the heroes heart race, the little bug in his brain that hated small spaces eating at him, his feet shifting a bit as he struggles a bit to reach the ground. He didn't know how he had found himself in this position so often, had it been weeks since it started? Months? He had quickly lost track of the minutes, the days. They blended together when he was in “The hole”
It was quite literally a hole in the wall place; a public bathroom in the middle of the woods where someone would anonymously slide into the hole, a nicely padded spot easy to clean with a wipe after a messy round of fun. The willing participant would present themself, and let themself get railed by anyone who wanted a fun time or anyone who just wandered in.
A guilty pleasure of Sonics, the hero's body trembling occasionally at the thought already.
