    “Yeah? I mean, this—” the man, Bokuto, gestured to the building at large. "This is a blood bank, right?”

    Ah. So this wasn’t just a vampire. This was also an idiot. Fortunately for both of them, Keiji had a soft spot for idiots.

    “It is,” Keiji said. “But that’s not how blood banks work. That’s not how any of this works. Blood banks aren't like money banks, Bokuto-san. You can’t just walk up and make a withdrawal. You can’t do that at a money bank either. You need to have an account.”

    “Is that how it works?” Bokuto asked, visibly confused.

    “Yes, Bokuto-san. Do you—do you not have a bank account?”

    “Um, is it, like, taxes related? Because I’m definitely not sure how those work.”
