The rest of the fic is scenes building on their relationship throughout the years leading to their eventual romance.

His new life would start in Raccoon city, a city with a rising rate of violence in recent years, and especially an abnormal number of missing people. (The outbreaks never happened... an AU where Leon lives his life as a normal cop... well, as far as possible.)
