This was a fact that Rhodey, Pepper, and Happy refused to believe, yet was obviously true. Being a helicopter parent meant being a parental figure in the first place, and Tony Stark would be the first to tell you that he was anything but father material.

Summary
Peter had faced death countless times. He’d joined Mr. Stark in fighting the Rogue Avengers, fought Toomes and his gang, and stopped countless robberies and muggings. He was used to feeling fear - it came with the job description.
But that fear came nowhere close to the pure terror he felt at the prospect of having a meet and greet session with actual-freaking-Captain-America.
(Set post-Spider-man Homecoming, but pre-Infinity War because who needs to worry about that stuff, lmao. It’s in a perfect world where the Accords were eventually agreed upon, and the Avengers are back together. Because yay, happy endings!)
