Jayce Talis is the owner of Talis Cattle Company, which is currently driving their entire herd of cattle from San Antonio to Fort Smith, Arkansas. On the way, he and his cattlehands stop in Waco, Texas to restock provisions, conduct business, and prepare for the final stretch of their journey.

“Oh yeah?” Jayce chuckled. “What was I doing in your dreams? Something nice, I hope.”
Viktor smirked. “Oh, it was very nice. You made me pancakes, then we fucked.”
Jayce scoffed at his bluntness. “Is this your way of asking me to make you breakfast in bed?”
“No, but if you, eh, feel so inclined.”
“Which was better, the pancakes or the sex?”
“Oh, the pancakes, for sure.”
“Is that so?” He raised a disbelieving brow.
“Mhm.” It was that tone that would make anyone else think Viktor was dead serious but Jayce laughed, feeling his crow’s feet tugging at his eyes.
“Bet they didn’t make you cum, though.”
He tugged Jayce’s hand down to the front of his pyjama pants. “Want to check?”
Jayce’s eyes darted between Viktor’s face and his hand, a blush crawling up his cheeks. When all he saw were Viktor’s honeyed eyes gleaming with mischief and lust and a challenge, his hand couldn’t have moved faster.
