the angel devil was splayed out on the now warm bedsheets of a familiar bed, begging to no one in particular for a rain shower to come out of nowhere. if there were any way to file a complaint to the universe, he'd trade anything for it. he'd love to let the universe know of his problems regarding the weather. maybe after getting enough of angel's monotone grievance, it would let the world cool down a bit.

“Thanks. Seriously,” Till said, though he knew it was long overdue. He shifted in his seat, extending a hand across the center console. Ivan didn’t so much as glance at it. “I’m Till, by the way. Till Becker.”
“I know who you are.”
“Oh,” Till muttered. Slowly, Till withdrew his hand and opted to wipe it awkwardly against his jacket instead. “Right.”
Ivan remained silent.
“I know who you are, too,” Till revealed, trying to lighten the mood
“Great,” Ivan said dryly. “Then we can skip the introductions.”
“Um, okay,” Till mumbled, secretly wishing he never bothered.
“Instead,” Ivan suggested, shrugging, “let’s ask bigger questions. Like, why would you go hiking in the middle of winter?”
