Career day was almost a success. Her class was happy to learn from the beautician assigned to them and she even got a makeover on top of it that instantly made her feel so good about herself; she couldn’t wait to show it to melissa who, as far as she knew, was “bored to death” by her career guy based on the emoji’s she received from her when it all started.
It was a good day, a good week, until one Melissa Schemmenti goes against one thing she’s been telling her best friend and herself since they both could remember and with it rattled a long buried feelings Barbara Howard tried so hard to ignore.
