    Summary

As an up-and-coming private investigator at the Wright Anything Agency in 1940s Los Angeles, Apollo’s finally making his way in the world. There isn’t a case he can’t handle (even if most of them are trivial and awful to deal with), until late one night when popular nightclub singer Klavier Gavin bursts in with more money than Apollo knows what to do with and a plea to find his older brother.

What starts as a normal missing persons case quickly becomes a mess when a body is found and the mystery begins to drag in those closest to him. There’s no backing down now, and Apollo just has to hope he can solve the case before it all comes crashing down.

That might be easier said than done, especially with a client as enigmatic as his.

A 40s Noir AU starring Apollo as a private investigator and Klavier as his client. Written for the 2022 Klapollo Minibang.

    Summary

They pull up at the courthouse and Apollo gently picks the cat up, still wrapped in his waistcoat, and walks through the doors to the defense lobby. He’s thinking now of the two important things he has to do today: prove his worth to Kristoph Gavin, and take this cat to a vet to check for any sort of microchip. The latter should be easy enough, but the former…?

Well, he’s not off to a great start.

The story of both of the times Apollo Justice ended up bringing Mikeko to court, and how he was met by two wildly different reactions from the Gavin brothers.

    Summary

Apollo is a complete stranger to the feeling in his chest. If he had to place it on some kind of scale, it would be right between the time he drank ten energy drinks in an attempt to finish an essay last-minute, and the time he almost fell out of the window of his tenth-floor college dorm. A midway point between anxiety and anticipation, otherwise known to the less-romantically-dense members of the world as butterflies.

Apollo Justice works security at LA's biggest mall, and makes absolutely no effort at all not to fall in love with the cute guy who's just opened up a hair salon.

    Summary

It has been five consecutive business days since Apollo Justice’s lunch was first stolen right from the break room fridge. It has been five consecutive business days that he has received naught but a note from the thief:

    Thanks for the snack, darling.

He has to get to the bottom of this. No one gets away with stealing his lunch… except maybe Trucy. And Maya. And okay, Mr. Wright too, but he can probably afford better lunches than his boss.

Or: Apollo is the victim of an oddly flirtatious sandwich thief. Phoenix plays Candy Crush during work hours. Half the office could build a career on double agency-- no pun intended.

    Summary

“Yes I have it bad,” Klavier says, adjusting himself in his seat. “Apollo is kind of oblivious when it comes to these type of things, but I suppose it'll make for a bigger impact once he realizes that I’ve been into him for almost a year now."

Office AU in which there is something more to your coworker bringing you lunch all the time, and maybe Apollo should pick up on that. And maybe they should stop filming confessionals in the building—it's starting to affect their productivity.
