Summary
Being so close to Mitsuba is incredibly strange. If Mitsuba were human, Kou would be able to hear his breathing, feel the warmth radiating off of him, smell whatever shampoo he'd last used or something like that. He's not getting any of that. If it weren't for the physical sensation of somebody leaning up against him, he might not even know he was there. Mitsuba has very little presence.
Still, Kou wouldn't change being next to him for anything. Even if he is a bit unnerving.

Mitsuba makes a face at Kou, but continues speaking. "Ok, so you know how you have the worst fashion sense imaginable and you dress like shit and you look terrible and every item of clothing you own looks like it was thrown out of hell by the devil for being too disgusting?"
Kou blinks. "Uh... I hadn't heard anyone say that before, but alright..."
"It's true," Mitsuba says seriously. Then he cracks a grin, poking himself in the cheek with his fingertip. "And I am here to fix it for you."

It was like he existed just to make life hard and amazing at the exact same time. Kyoya tore his eyes from Tamaki, ducking down. He hated this, he felt amazing but his reflexes and thoughts were slowed. It was harder to hide it when he was like this and when Tamaki was so close. Kyoya wondered if Tamaki knew he was thinking of him and just thought it was funny to toy with him like this. “Roses.” He said, confused as to why he chose that. Tamaki loved roses and he loved Tamaki, so maybe that was why.

Kel grimaces, annoyed. He doesn't understand how Hero can’t get this. He's supposed to be the smart one and he can't grasp a concept as simple as this? It’s easy. Kel loved Sunny. He loved him so deeply that he thought the feeling would be etched in his insides forever. That when he died, centuries from now, archaeologists would examine his skeleton just to find the name Sunny engraved on every square inch of his bones over and over again. Kel is Sunny’s, Kel will always be Sunny’s. Even if Sunny doesn’t love him the same way, even if it's purely platonic, the fact that Sunny cares at all about Kel means he’s knocking. The sliver of hope that Sunny gives a fuck, means Kel will knock.
