Lying in the centre of their bed is a Jack-Abbot-shaped lump.
Robby carefully approaches.
"...hey Jackie."
The lump suddenly moves and the thing staring back at him only vaguely resembles his husband.
His calm eyes are fiery, his usual loose jaw is tight and the playful smile on his lips is replaced by a deep frown.
