Summary
Paris, 1881. The famed Oletus Opera House is at the height of its glory, and the debut of rising star Naib Subedar is the talk of the city.
Eli Clark has traveled to see his childhood companion—whom he has loved since they first met—in hopes of rekindling their friendship. As he and Naib grow closer, Eli begins to wonder if his affection is truly as unrequited as he always believed it to be.
But Eli is not the only one with an interest in Naib—the opera is stalked by a ghostly figure who has set his sights on the talented man as well. And, as Eli soon learns, the Ripper does not take kindly to his muse being stolen away.
