Summary
All of the comfort in the world wasn’t enough. Katsuki was mad. He had been told that he would have made a full recovery by now and he was getting increasingly frustrated that he hadn’t. Izuku told him to take it easy, that if he rested and went back to physical therapy, it may help. But Katsuki had refused, too angry and in denial to listen to reason. Izuku knew he was scared that he wouldn’t be able to be a pro hero anymore, even if he wouldn't admit it out loud. He tried to make sure Katsuki knew he was there for him, that he could confide in him. Izuku understood, he told Katsuki that he did, but Katsuki was too in his head about it. So he had watched as his boyfriend slowly fell into an endless pit of anger and resentment.
Or: Izuku Midoriya navigates a year without Katsuki Bakugou in his life for the first time.

Stuck in a ghost-like state, the boy enters a race against time in order to save himself from permanently dying. Much to his luck - or lack of it -, the only person who can see and talk to him in this state is no one other than Kacchan.
