Zagreus is in charge of a new department in the underworld— the Department of Seriously Troubled Souls, or as the blood god likes to call them, “assholes who are too stubborn to die peacefully.” Normally they’d be able to reincarnate with little trouble, but there’s been a worrying amount of souls who are skirting out of the Underworld through these gateways. And now, with little else to do, Zagreus is stuck listening to the harrowing tales of reincarnates for, uh, accounting purposes.
