It’s hard in the darkness but the glint of light off of his piercings help Chishiya gauge where he should be looking to stare into his eyes.

Chishiya doesn’t have any particular interest to the humans themselves, but their motive is something he is interested in discovering. After all, humans don’t intentionally venture here. Not normally anyways. His tail sways in the water below and the dorsal fin that runs along his spine starts to raise a fraction with the bubble of delight in his chest.
“ Wow. So you can be interested in things after all. “ Kuina teases him and Chishiya decides to splash her in response. She shrieks and glares at him and he simply glares back.
“ Of course I can. If it’s something worth being interested in. “ The siren replies, chin resting on his forearms as he looks at the approaching ship on the horizon. This seemed to be one of them.
