Summary
The Straw Hat pirates were just involved in a fight with the Blackbeard pirates, and half the crew is in critical condition. Nami loses a leg, Usopp severely injures his arm, Franky is unconscious from a knockout, and the rest are covered in gauze. What really puts a cherry on top is Sanji, out of pure luck, breaks the bones in his hands. Luffy, Zoro, and Chopper are the only ones who manage to stay in one piece. Luffy is hungry, Chopper is exhausted from caring for everyone, leaving Zoro to take up responsibility on the ship. how the hell is Zoro supposed to replace the straw hat’s skilled cook, and protect the thousand sunny with Luffy on top of that?

Sanji releases Zoro with a gasp, pushing him away. He’s breathing hard, feeling like he’s going to vibrate out of his skin. Zoro doesn’t look much better, his face lit up like a tomato.
“Okay fuck that we’re not doing that again. Obviously you don’t know how to kiss right because I feel like I’m dying.” Zoro gently touches his fingers to his lips, spaces out, then shakes himself "Shithead." He says, like an afterthought as he leaves the galley, flipping Sanji off on his way out.

“Vamps don’t actually turn into bats,” he huffs, poking at a dangling plastic decoration. “And they sure as hell don’t wear capes, either. They look just like any average person. That’s what makes them so dangerous.”
“Oh. I had no idea,” lies Sanji, who is most definitely an average person and not a vampire. He shoots the mosshead his best customer service smile, the one that screams sir, this is just an innocent local business with no affiliation to vampires, the Easter Bunny, or Santa Claus. “Can I get you anything?”
Alternatively: In this economy, you gotta do what you gotta do. Some people hunt rogue vampires. Others run coffee shops that cater specifically to their fellow creatures of the night, and try their best not to get staked through the heart (or fall in love).
