Summary
Practically every major moment of Hitch’s existence as shown in the manga and anime centers around Annie Leonhart. We get Annie’s point of view for most of these encounters, but we rarely get shown Hitch’s feelings and thoughts. This is my interpretation of Hitch’s inner emotions and dialogue throughout the Attack on Titan story beginning during the “Lost Girls: Wall Sina, Goodbye” episodes where she’s only known Annie for a few weeks and leaving off on what I believe to be what happened post-Rumbling.
Aka my entire life trajectory was changed by the line “But I’m Military Police, though” and I refuse to shut up about it. Annie said that in the present tense and the only possible interpretation is that she went back for her girl.Hitchannie canon
