Feng Xin finds himself kneeling, too, in front of the ghost. The talisman doesn’t even flutter, because there are no breaths to disrupt it where it lays, so he reaches out to lift one of the bottom corners.
Carefully, he lifts his other hand and brushes some of the strands of silver hair; it’s soft, perhaps even too soft, but the likeness otherwise isn’t bad. His skin is pale and clear and even shows a faint flush across the cheeks.
“Qing’er,” Feng Xin says quietly, and wonders if the ghost can even hear him under whatever spell the talisman carries. “... Is it you?”

"Oh, does it hurt?" Mu Qing reached for Nan Feng's face, caressing the softness of his cheek, reddened by the impact of his frustration. Still, there was not a single scar in sight. Nan Feng always looked pretty and soft, yet rough and rugged at the same time. "Pretty," he said, poking his dimple.
His touch drove Nan Feng insane. He trailed his fingers to his jaw and neck, tickling the Nan Yang deputy with his cold fingers.
"General..." Nan Feng mewled, closing his eyes at the gentleness of Mu Qing's actions. "Please, I need you."
Nan Feng messed up—no, he did worse—he fucked up! Not only did he fail to stand firm on his promise, but he also ended up disrespecting the great Martial God of the Southwest, General Xuan Zhen, right in front of the Palace of Nan Yang. And for that, Mu Qing made sure he paid for it… the painfully hard way.
