Summary

“Hi,” Armand said. He sat behind the man. “I don’t think we’ve met. I’m Armand.” His voice was calm and casual.
The man turned to face him fully, his posture adjusting so that his back was facing Lestat. The small action gave Armand satisfaction. The man tilted his head before extending his hand.
“Louis.” He said, his voice smooth.
Their hands met briefly in a handshake, and Armand’s nerves jumped. He could tell the man was attractive from afar, but from up close, he was a true beauty. From the corner of his eye, Armand noticed that Lestat had just caught on to his presence.
“It doesn’t look like you’re enjoying this party,” Armand said, leaning closer. “Dragged here by friends too?”
Louis laughed lightly, his eyes darting to the other people in the group. “You can definitely say that. I think I am starting to enjoy it more now though.”
OR
Armand spots his asshole exboyfriend (Lestat) across the room at a party and rains on his parade by swooping in and stealing the man he was trying to swoon (Louis).
