For all of those who have experienced disruption and loneliness due to the war, by The Marriage Program removing traditionally hard barriers to finding connections it provides all eligible participants with the opportunity to build strong and long lasting relationships without the delays typically associated with dating or courtship.
The Wizarding world is ecstatic over the new marriage law that's cleverly being passed as a new trendy way to meet your forever match. Only Hermione seems to be able to see or care for what it really is, a ploy to regrow the dying population.
Everyone ridicules Hermione, telling her to let it go as shes exempt from The Marriage Program due to her engagement. That is, until she wakes up to an official letter from the Ministry with a date set and scheduled for her marriage to her new anonymous match that has been assigned after Ron fails to return home after a stag night out with his friends.
