Summary
Throughout the hotel,Alastor keeps "accidentally" running into Lucifer before it is revealed that he is purposefully circling Lucifer. Both of them don't want to talk about the dangerous habit that grows out of this irritation. In the end, Lucifer makes a deal that allows Alastor to stand between him and the things that want to harm him, even though Lilith might still be trying to retake the throne and someone could still come very close to the Devil, that might be the safest and scariest thing he's done in a long time.
Lucifer paused at the door, then glanced back.
“Come to my room later.”Alastor’s smile sharpened. “Oh?”
Lucifer frowned. “For the actual deal. Obviously.”
“How formal,” Alastor said.
Lucifer laughed. “Don’t make it weird.”
“I would never.”
