Summary
Vincent and Leo stop off at a motel after fleeing the farmhouse and before they get to the city. There's only one bed, the booze is cheap, and the tv is broken, but Leo's determined to celebrate their escape properly. He's been developing feelings for his fellow fugitive and, seeing as he has a respectfully open marriage with Linda, he's ready to take his shot during this rare opportunity and confess to the desires he's been harboring.
Or he was, before Vincent makes his own confession.

Alastor finds himself facing the destruction of Hell at the hands of ‘the Might of Lilith’. Before him stands Vox, the mastermind behind it all! How could things have turned out this way? Where did he go wrong?
Alastor suddenly wakes up with no memories, trapped in a time loop with Vox, reliving the most critical turning point in their relationship. Even though they are not yet aware of the full extent of what has happened, they have only two options: remain stuck in the time loop forever or work together.
I really loved the tropes in this fanfiction, and I also felt that the relationship between the two was portrayed in a very real and believable way. Time was taken to develop the characters. I also thought it was great that so many supporting characters provided important moments for the story’s progression. Although the days repeated themselves, the chapters were varied.
At times, the flow of the text was a bit difficult, which was probably due to the fact that English is not the author’s first language. But it was still understandable.

Summary

The question is whether Angel will ever be able to let go of his past and allow their relationship to evolve from a business transaction into something more genuine.
And even if he wants to, will his past let go of him?

Alastor, who cannot confess his secret feelings for Angel, tries to get closer to him under the guise of a sugar daddy, worried about Angel's health. It's clear that his feelings won't remain undiscovered for long, but can Angel free himself from the abusive behavior of Valentino, which he has known as his reality until now?
In this story, I especially love the introduction of own characters like Venn or Momoka. Only point deduction for me came from the ending, which felt a bit rushed. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the story.

Henry as a character is a creation of our own and is therefor portrayed as he is. We recognize that with the casting of Keith David, this portrayal is probably not true to canon. Touching story about Angel (Anthony) and Husk (Henry) who, after their reunion at the Happy Hotel and their interactions with each other, gradually recover fragments of their past when they were alive. Initially intangible, they realize that they were more connected than they previously thought, sending them through a rollercoaster of emotions. Very realistically staged through the historical context of the events, we accompany Angel and Husk as their love overcomes death.
Edit: I am so incredibly happy that this masterpiece is now getting a print version, which I have of course already pre-ordered.
