Sonic gasped, shooting up before nearly falling down again, his head reeling. He felt like he was about to throw up and pass out all at once. He rubbed his head, feeling the rough texture of his now singed fur. Where was he? The last thing he could recall was Tails shouting for him to not do...something. His head throbbed the harder he tried to remember so he relented and opted to take in his surroundings instead. The grass was blood red, no longer that warm and vibrant green he was familiar with.
