Summary
Merlin cannot remember Arthur’s face, no matter how hard he tries. It’s simply been too long, and the world has changed too much, and Merlin has changed, too.
He happens across a psychic who shows him a vision, and he can very nearly almost see Arthur’s face, but not quite. When the vision ends, Merlin thinks that’s as close as he’ll ever get. Then, while making lunch, he suddenly finds himself somewhere impossible, somewhere that doesn’t exist anymore, sometime that doesn’t exist anymore.
But that vision doesn’t last long, either. Until Merlin finds himself back in Camelot again. And again.
