Summary
Though V's attack on Arasaka has been successful, the damage Adam Smasher has caused to his body and mind (alongside being hit by Soulkiller) has been more than traumatic. Though he isn't taking his new situation well, V wants to get back to a state of normalcy.
Thankfully he won't have go through recovery alone as Kerry, his wonderful input, is there to help however he can.Recovery of course isn't always the easiest nor the prettiest and they'll both need to find ways to deal with whatever happens.

“V!” Jackie yelled, just enough for V to finally snap out of his thoughts.
“Huh?”
“You were spaced out, mano… I asked you if you want to go for a drink? I’d ask if you want to get somethin’ to eat but mamá would beat the shit out of me if we came home full even though she already prepared somethin’.”
V couldn’t help but let out a chuckle at the thought of Mamá Welles yelling at the two of them because they dared to buy some cheap synth crap while they both know better than anyone that they can get a much better and filling meal at home and for no eddies spent.
