Summary
“911, what’s your emergency?”
Eddie’s voice cracked. “I need an ambulance. Now. My friend—he’s collapsed. He’s burning up. I think he’s severely dehydrated. Maybe worse.”
The dispatcher asked for the address. Eddie gave it, fast, precise. Years of training kicked in, but his heart was racing, his throat tight.
“Is he conscious?”
“Barely,” Eddie said. “He’s not responding properly. He’s been alone. I don’t know how long.”
He hung up and knelt beside Buck again, brushing damp hair from his forehead. “Help’s coming,” he murmured. “Just hold on.”

The aftermath of the lawsuit takes its toll on Buck and he slowly disappears without being seen by anyone.

Summary
Eddie puts his bottle down and leans back in his chair. It’s not that he doesn’t want to hear what Buck and Tommy are doing for their second anniversary. It’s just, well, he doesn’t really want to hear what Buck and Tommy are doing for their second anniversary.
;OR;
Eddie has been in love with Buck for years. Unfortunately, in 2024, instead of breaking up with Buck, Tommy agreed to move in with him. By the time they got married in the summer of 2026, Eddie was fully aware of the way he felt about Buck. The thing is, he thought Buck was happy with Tommy, so he didn't say anything. It's been 2 years since Buck and Tommy got married, and Eddie is still hopelessly in love and resigned to spending the rest of his life alone. It's fine. Buck is still his best friend. He doesn't need more than that. Really.

Summary
After finishing at the Fire Academy, Buck’s stopped on his way out by Captain Bobby Nash from the 118 — the most talked-about station in LA. Nash offers him a spot as their new probie, impressed by his background as a dispatcher and his record-breaking run through training.
But Buck turns him down. He knows what went down under the last captain, Gerard, and he’s not about to walk into a place still recovering from that kind of mess. He tells Nash the team needs time, trust, and probably therapy before anyone new shows up. When Nash flinches at the word “therapy,” Buck figures he made the right call.

Summary
Sick fic- Roy finds Jamie with a dangerously high fever.
Set between season 3 and 4
-
Freezing. He was freezing in the dark.
“Jamie! It’s okay, it’s okay, it’s just me. It’s Roy. Fucking hell, Jamie, calm down!”
It felt like there was a stake being driven into the base of his skull. Pounding, pounding, it wouldn’t stop pounding.
His stomach roiled, cramping so hard he couldn’t breathe.
“Roy,” Jamie sobbed.
“I’m here, I’m here.” Roy’s voice sounded frantic. Jamie finally pried his eyes open and Roy’s face swam in his vision, tilting around and around.
“Jamie, easy now, you gotta breathe.” He couldn’t. There was something heavy on his chest, it wasn’t rising enough when he tried.
“C’mon, look at me, no don’t close your eyes. Jamie, Jamie, please- where’s the fucking doctor!?”
Roy’s voice boomed above him, shocking his eyes open. He was too close, still holding Jamie by his arms. His hands were like ice on the bare skin of Jamie’s arms.
Too hot. He was burning.Bookmarked by volfan
