Mike slides and skids in the water pooled around his feet, struggling to get to his feet. When he does, he’s fully sodden from head to toe. Fighting against the pull of the water, he desperately grabs two fists of Will’s shirt, yanking him closer right until their chests brush together. “Will- please w-what, what are you, what’s going on? Please, talk to me, I’m sorry oka-”
Will’s jaw quivers like he’s fighting to get the word out of his mouth. “Mike.”“You can’t do this to me. Don’t. Please.”
