Summary
A chance encounter at an event commemorating the defeat of Eggman puts Shadow and Amy back into each other's orbit. One clings on with a heart of gold and a desire to save a friend. The other holds as tightly as the myarter complex that grips them.
It's difficult, you see. When you've spent your entire life fighting, the fighting is never really over. So how are they suppose to just go on living like they know how?
This story focuses on Shadow and Amy while also showcasing the aftereffects of war on the main cast and civilians alike. There's friendship, there's romance, there's despondence, there's comfort, but the most important thing is, as they go through these events, they keep holding on to that edge of tomorrow.

Lancelot knows he cannot continue like this. Already he finds it impossible to stop the shaking in his hands when his king does speak, and he keeps his visor down at all times now lest someone comment on how pale he grows, how he sweats when his liege does pass by.
This is a thing that cannot last. How could it? How could he exist with this ache? How could he live with his heart like a beast in a cage, rattling its chains at the sight of eyes green and bright like wide-open pastures?
There are moments where, if he stares too long, he feels like he could run head-long into those smiling eyes.

Perhaps this was a good sign. A step in the right direction and away from his downwards spiral of uuuggghhhh. Because the way Mettaton saw it, he now had one of two options.
One: retreat to the lukewarm comforts of a lumpy couch until he became one with the cushions and waited until the inevitable heat death of the universe collapsed onto him to finally end the soul-crushing boredom.
Or two: watch whatever the hell was on his newly acquired TV.
Alone and bored to death, Mettaton looks for a way to pass the time while the Internet is down. Good news, he does. Bad news... uh, it’s totally normal to want to kiss your recently acquired TV, right? (asking for a friend, haha...)

Summary
Spiral Hill Village has weathered a lot over the years. From Badniks to Zombots, its taken a fair share of hardships - but it's finally back to relative peace. Amongst the inhabitants lives a middle-aged widow who runs an ice cream shop; Kousa Mudsy. While she hides the pains of her grief well, it all starts to unravel when her shop is given a visit from two particular hedgehogs.
A story that takes place over several years, revisiting the past of the brokenhearted while also watching a new relationship grow through the present. References IDW arcs through the eyes of civilians and explores themes of letting go, re-discovering happiness, and unlikely friendships.

Summary
"Amy?" Sonic asks, hands going to her injured one. He brushes over the wound by accident. It lights her nerves on fire.
Amy pushes Sonic away without thinking about it. Her eyes widen in horror as she watches him fly dozens of yards back and then slam into a boulder.
"Did he... offend you?" Knuckles asks, not coming closer. Amy isn't sure if she appreciates it or not. This is all too familiar.
"I- My bracelets-" She looks back down at her hands in horror. When she looks back up to her friends, Shadow's red eyes are staring right to her very soul from twenty feet away.
