Summary
Friendships forged on drama sets are common, but Bo-Hyun knows the way they kept in contact after filming ended is unusual. Trying to coordinate the schedules of three in-demand actors can be a nightmare, yet they manage to meet up regularly simply because all of them make the effort. They know that what they have is rare.
He remembers how shy all of them had been at that first script reading — Nara looking like a schoolgirl with her hair in that short bob, Seojun unexpectedly reserved, no doubt keenly aware that he was carrying the drama. But once filming started, they’d quickly developed an ease with each other. Actors learned to create rapport with each other, and with the crew, fast on film sets — it was a survival skill in their industry. No doubt they would have been friends anyway but Bo-Hyun knows that it was the day they filmed the scene in the rain together that had changed everything — altering the tenor of their relationship and sealing them into a tight trio from that moment.

Saeroyi looked at her now, as she stood next to him. He still couldn’t quite believe it sometimes, that the enigmatic, elusive Soo Ah was now his wife. They had signed the papers, she wore his ring, slept in his bed every night — she belonged to him legally, officially, for all intents and purposes.
Yet he knew there would always be a private room inside her that he could not access. Some central untouchable privacy that she had established years ago as a child that lent her a mysterious, unknowable quality. A quality that marriage had not changed, just like it had not altered her fierce independence. She didn’t do conventional wifely things, never fussed over him yet she always seemed to know exactly what he needed.
Maybe that was why he loved her the way that he did.
