V2 strove to be better than his predecessor. Every idle moment was spent preparing himself for their next encounter, reviewing footage of their fight to learn V1's tactics and strategies. He had expected an easy victory the second time around.
What his studying didn't prepare him for was how roughly V1 would humiliate him when they beat him again.
