Summary
Shouta's not used to students calling him 'dad', his terrifying speech and expulsions tend to make his students very disciplined and not overly fond of him. This year's homeroom however got served a traumatic event during their first week of class and bonded with him, they are exasperated by his logical ruses and somehow fond of his gruff attitude. This all brings all sort of behavior changes Shouta could expect, being accidentally called 'dad' in class was definitely not one of those. He never imagined a kid that wasn't his own would utter the word to him, now they have in public.

Summary
So maybe the interview with Nighteye had left Izuku a little... frustrated, but it was fine. It was fine! He'd gotten the internship in the end, and he'd dealt with a lot more discrimination than a rigged test. There was no point in being angry when it wouldn't change anything.
But after Izuku bumped into an unusually angry stranger on the walk back to UA, he decided he should talk to All Might. Just to ask why the man never told him about Togata being a potential successor, that's all! And why All Might never mentioned Nighteye didn't like him before sending him to the man's agency! Small things. Just some small things he wanted to discuss.
It's not long after that Izuku was realizing there were much bigger things he had sitting on his chest, and the newfound urge to acknowledge them began to take over.
He was angry.
Or, Izuku has been suppressing his anger since he was a child, when being upset only got him insults and scoldings. When he's unknowingly affected by an anger-amplifying Quirk on the walk home, however, he and those around him are forced to confront everything simmering within for years.

Shota sneers at the teenager across from him. His defense raises like the hairs on the back of his neck as he glares steadily, ready and waiting for whatever will come from this encounter. He narrows his gaze when the teen shifts; just the thought of sharing this rooftop with Japan's most notorious villain makes his skin prickle. “Deku.”
“Y-yes!” the teenager cries out in relief, taking a small step towards Shota, “I’m Deku! I’m so g-glad you—”
“Deku,” Shota growls darkly, flicking out his capture weapon hastily to snag the villain before he can make his move. He's quick to tug it taut, leaving no room for Deku to escape. “You’re under arrest.”
“I-I’m what?! W-wait!”
tl;dr
Hero Course student Izuku comes to the realization that he is definitely not where he's supposed to be.
