A laugh so shrill and delirious that it sounds more like a scream bursts from Hana's mouth. “You're too late.”
“Hana-chan, what exactly are you doing? You haven't even touched the bank account. Tell me that you’re safe, at least?”
“Oh, you suddenly care?” Hana cries. “I thought you were dead! It's been a year!”

Shun glances up at her briefly, wrapped up in his act of not-noticing her like it's armour. Hana stands there, fists balled at her sides. She's pouting. It's like someone put the sun back in the sky after a month-long night.
