Summary
His birthmark was strange - it was a very specific shape. Three equilateral triangles arranged so they outlined a bigger triangle, with two at the bottom and one at the top. Most people in Hyrule would recognize the shape as the Triforce, an ancient artifact left behind by the Goddesses. The symbol was used in many places, but specifically ones that had to do with the royal family or the Goddesses. So, Link tried to hide the birthmark from people he didn’t already know - he feared what the symbol might mean.
Or: Link doesn't expect to be anything more than the son of a travelling merchant. But a fair in Castle Town teaches him how wrong that assumption was, and leads him on a dangerous quest of bravery, love, and betrayal.

Summary
Most people would say that Princess Zelda of Hyrule was rarely ever nervous. She was always confident, composed, and wise. A respectable and dignified heir to the throne. Yet, the Princess was starting to have second thoughts about being a dignified and worthy heir. In fact, she was starting to regret many of her recent actions.
OR: I’ve been thinking about my own hypothetical Legend of Zelda story ever since the movie was announced, and so I thought I could write a short little story about how Link and Zelda would meet in it!
