Summary
Francesca Bridgerton arrives back in London following a three year stint in Germany. Getting a new gig was easy. Having to couch surf with her various siblings was not.
And so, she delves into the competitive and anxiety ridden world of apartment hunting, only to reunite her ex, bidding on the very same flat.
Furthermore, she then finds herself in a precarious hostage situation with said ex, her brother's mother-in-law, a condescending business man, and an over eager realtor.
And somehow the worst part of the entire situation was that, even after all of these years apart, Michaela Stirling was still the most resplendent and ethereal being on the planet.
