    Peter Parker, as we all know, has some very weird habits. Like stuffing the microwave full of popcorn. And raising his arms to intimidate people. And hiding in crawlspaces. However, those last two are a safety thing. Well, actually, that first one is a safety concern.

    Basically, he's weird.

    If you see a spider, you are in the wrong spot. Spiders know your whole routine, which is why you hardly see them. So, Peter Parker learning the routines of everyone on the team and hiding away is not that crazy of a concept.

    William didn't feel love. At least not traditionally. He either felt indifferent or he was completely attatched. When William found himself liking things he took it beyond extremes. He couldn't imagine anyone but him liking Henry the way he did. In all honesty he felt no real compassion for the other man, but he also needed him. God, how Henry filled him with jealousy, he seemed happy, content even with a normal life. A good wife, children. It boiled under William's skin. They didn't deserve attention from Henry afterall. Only he did.

    Peter might have been handling things a bit weird, but come on. He was not only taken from his known dimension and dropped in a new one, he was also plucked from good old NYC and dropped in LA of all places. Sure he could have tried to figure stuff out by himself, but an old half remembered mention of a cousin in the LA area had him latching onto the notion of connection. Even if it was a distant cousin. VERY distant...
