The title taken from the Gym Class Heroes song with the same name. That song and the thoughts in my head have combined to produce this fic. Maya is on the track and cross country teams. She's not the most popular kid at school but she wouldn't say she is hated or ostracized or anything crazy. Her life is busy. Each day packed to the gills with practices, and training, and schoolwork. Carina is the most popular girl in her class and could be seen as a bit of a mean girl. At least that's how it would seem from an outsider's perspective. But not everything is always as it seems.
