    "Am I doing it right?" Mike gasped, his voice cracking as he pushed his hips down hard. "Will? Does it feel... is it too much?"

    "It’s perfect," Will choked out, his eyes squeezed shut, fingers digging into Mike’s shoulders. "God, Mike, just stay there. Don't move."

    "I can't move," Mike groaned, dragging himself upward in a slow, punishing slide that made Will’s breath hitch.

    Mike is convinced he’s broken. After a string of disastrous dates and a girl walking out of his dorm mid-hookup because he’s "too much," he’s spiraling. He decides he needs to practice, and the only person he trusts is Will.
    Will agrees to a month of no-strings experimentation just to be close to him, but the line between "practice" and reality disappears the second they’re behind a locked door. Mike isn't just learning how to move; he's learning that he never wanted those girls in the first place.

    Above him, with his whole weight pressed against him, Will's laugh shakes his whole body. Even though Will's skin is soaking wet, Mike feels like he’s on fire everywhere they touch. He wriggles, screeching and howling with laughter as Will shakes his head and fresh droplets fall from his hair.
    Being pinned down under Will's weight is making him feel inexplicably giddy. Something like anticipation grows in his belly.

    Mike clears his throat slightly and keeps the same edge to his tone in the hope of fully drawing Will back to what they’re doing. “Hands.”

    The reaction is instant again, as it was earlier and Mike feels that same rush as Will moves quickly to clasp his hands behind his back. He hears Will mumble out a sorry, embarrassment evident in his tone and Mike decides to tease him, his distraction at nothing amusing for some reason.

    “Huh? I can’t hear you.” He keeps his voice low in the quiet of the room but Will hears it. His breath stutters again and Mike watches in fascination as his neck starts to flush a deep pink.

    It was just different with them, the guys. It had always been different with Mike especially, and he knew it wasn’t really like the best thing. Being hopelessly in love  with your best friend you’ve known since kindergarten, mean-that you would later live with him ,and having lived countless lives together, Will was managing the best he currently could. The real problem was when that same feeling started creeping up around Lucas and Dustin too. They were just so nice, always including him, always being there for him when he couldn’t go to Mike. Two people that never really hurt him, intentional or not, it made him feel warm. It wasn’t as intense as with Mike, never to that degree, but it still was definitely there. He just felt so greedy. It felt wrong.
