Summary
Jirou has just finished her first year at U.A. and that comes with a lot of free time to finally figure out what is going on in her life. She's had a bad habit up until now of avoiding all of her problems but when an unlikely friendship with Bakugou Katsuki makes her see things a little differently, she realizes things need to change. It's a little messy but that's just a part of life. No one gets out of it without making some mistakes, some of them might just be what she needed after all.
(Jirou starts off interested in Momo and will eventually end up with Bakugou if the tags are confusing)

Shouto had been expecting it to be Uraraka.
He’d prepared himself for it—the moment he became friends with Midoriya, aflame in a stadium all those years ago, he’d accepted that he was second best, and that he was never going to be anything more than that. It wasn’t like it was hard for him to accept, or like he blamed Midoriya—Uraraka was bright. She was friendly, and warm, and kind—she would help him unconditionally, she always smiled, and she was, all in all, a good match for him. These were all things that Shouto did not have, and he knew that. He’d come to terms with it.
He’d been prepared to always be second-best.
But this—this was not Uraraka.
Or, Shouto learns about the unpredictability of love through heartbreak, laughter, and a little bit of time.
