DNF 10/2024 - I haven't read since last comment below (fic his now at ch79), but rereading what I've written here i think I'm good to call it quits as I'll prob never restart from the beginning again.
[WIP ch53] 11/2022
Over all, still enjoying the main story line. I just struggled a bit more with the wording/ writing from where i last left off. Some sentences are just written in an odd way so it's hard to read at times. I did skip a bit on last few chapters. There's just a lot moments that focused on weird details that tbh are unimportant- so i mainly skipped around reading the dialogue.
The transition between change of POV isn't always very smooth & takes a while to realize we're in someone else's head. So using "he" but only to realize it's no longer referring to the prev POV. Really wish the POV didn't change so often or at least it was clear when it happens.
Change in tense is also an issue but not as bothersome as those above.
[WIP ch37] 5/2022
It's very slow moving with a bit of repetition in thoughts & spoken words (someone thinks something & another character says the same info out loud - similar to their Rabastan/Harry fic)
Am interested to see where the plot progresses & possibly have HP, Orion & TMR working together to change the Wizarding world

Very interesting premise overall. I'm just not a fan of storylines where Harry has many creature inheritances & is the heir to several houses (esp the Hogwarts Founders).
Fic could also do with a thorough editing for grammar & spelling. The amount of time i had to stare at certain words to figure out what they were supposed to be 😬 ("been" = being & "dowt" = doubt, etc.)

What the hell is going on. I agree with a comment from ch1: desperately need a beta &/or English isn't a dominant tongue of theirs. The change in tense midway through a chapter really put me off

Summary
AU Severus Snape survived the war. Harry decided against being an Auror.
A few years down the line, Snape married Harry in order to help counter a deadly blood curse, probably placed on him while he was still working under cover as a Death Eater. They may not get on brilliantly still, but Harry is willing to remain his spouse for as long as it takes, and also to help cement Severus's rocky reputation as a hero.
Just as Harry has accepted that Severus will always dislike him, a new development in their relationship challenges that.

I don't like this Fleur. She's been emotionally manipulative with Harry since the beginning. Her whole persona revolves around her perfection and Harry truly believes she has no faults - which is ridiculous, but he so afraid to lose her that he succumbs to her wishes.
If it weren't for this, this fic would be fantastic. I love Harry's relationship with Salazar & that one chapter when he sealed the chamber had me in knots. Truly, the general story arc of this fic is fantastic. But Harry & Fleur are central to the story - I wish he would've stayed with Katie. A flawed, genuine person is always preferable over someone who manipulates & makes you believe her flawed perfection is real. Plus the way Fleur looks down at EVERYONE who isn't Harry or her family is ridiculous
I only stuck around this far for the story arc, but I'm pretty much tired of constantly skimming Fleur's POV
