Summary
“I’ll do it,” she said.
He opened his eyes, head jerking up. “What?”
“I’ll pretend to be engaged to you.”
“Wh- Clarke, no, that’s ridiculous you shouldn’t have to-”
She held up a finger. “Look, I’m supposed to be surprising my mom with my “mystery boyfriend” tonight, and you’re supposed to be announcing me to your mother as your fiance. It would kill two birds with one stone. All we would have to do is keep the ruse going for a week, then we both go back to New York. It’s foolproof.”
Bellamy was gaping at her.
A (kind of) One Small Hitch AU (if you squint), in which Clarke and Bellamy have known each other their whole lives because their families are close and when Bellamy accidentally blurts out to his sick mother that they're engaged before they head home for the holidays, they decide to keep up the ruse for Christmas. Things do not go as planned. -

Then Bellamy gets the chance to follow his father's footsteps. He goes to boot camp, leaving Clarke behind. Clarke's supposed to go to med school, even with her broken heart that's where she wants to go.Until two pink lines appear on the strip. She's abandoned by the one man she's always loved, carrying his child.
Two years later Bellamy comes home to find the girl he left behind is gone. He also finds out he as a son, who looks exactly like him. A son he never knew about, and a life he wasn't ready for after going to war.

Summary
Clarke's never been one to put much stock by things like astrology or horoscopes. She much prefers cold, hard facts — science, history, geography; things that can be documented and tested and proven. Everything else is fanciful fluff, and for her, that definitely includes the interpretation of dreams.
All the same, relentless rationalisations aside, she finds herself dwelling on this particular one.
Or, the one where Clarke has a very weird dream about her best friend — one that completely changes how she sees him.

Summary
"Mary. Your boss. The blonde?"
Octavia scoffs sharply. "Her name's not Mary, you dork."
He blinks, stopping in his tracks to frown at her. "What do you mean? It was on her name tag."
"I think between the two of us, I'm the one who'd know my own boss's name, Bell."
Or, the one where the pretty assistant manager at the superstore always has a different name tag on and it's driving Bellamy crazy.
